With my leg support on for shin splints and having only ran about 10 miles in the last 3 weeks I am going to start the first of two races planned for tomorrow of the Hot Runner 7 in 7. I will start the first race and hopefully finish it if it is pain free or I will drop out. The second race is no longer on the cards at the moment.
Exciting news for London when the final info magazine arrived, I'm starting in the blue pen behind the elites and athletic championship runners so I can 100% say I ran the same race as Mo Farah (if he doesn't pass out or drop out half way around)
The ball is really rolling now with my fundraising so far reaching a massive £517 not bad considering I only set a target of £100, it's all thanks to the wonderful people who have sponsored me so far and the staff at Links Lockers in Telford who have donated a massive £265. I have been invited to attend Birmingham Children's Hospital on Friday 4th April to see where the money I have raised will go and how it will help and to get some support and info on the race itself from previous charity runners and organizers.
Thank you to everyone that have sponsored me so far, if you would like to sponsor me please either follow this link or use the Donate button at the top of my blog. https://www.justgiving.com/
